The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department reviews and licenses mobile food units, and the license must be renewed whenever the menu, equipment or process changes. Toledo Fire & Rescue requires a fire inspection every year after a propane pressure leak test. The City of Toledo also requires liability insurance ($1,000,000 for motorized trucks or trailers) and an annual $50 registration, which includes the fire inspection.
