Mobile food permits in Fort Wayne
Allen County Department of Health licenses mobile food units under its Mobile Food Unit Requirements (revised June 9, 2025). Those rules require a wastewater tank 15% larger than the fresh water tank and an approved, licensed commissary the unit reports to at least daily. The county's new mobile packet also asks operators to get Fort Wayne Fire, water utility and planning sign-offs before the final health inspection.
